Rus In De Rust is a beautiful Heritage house built in the 1900s that has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished offering spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests. The property consists of a Main House with two bedrooms and one bathroom as well as a separate self-contained Studio Double Bedroom “Casita”. The house and casita can be rented together to accommodate a group of up to 6 guests OR separate with the main house accommodating 4 guests and the casita accommodating 2 guests. Rus In De Rust not only offers safe accommodation that is within walking distance to the main road with its restaurants and coffee shops but also offers the tranquillity and country “feel” you would expect from a quaint country village.
Cape St. Blaize is a spacious townhouse perched on top of a hill near the famous “Lighthouse” in the heart of the stunning coastal town of Mossel Bay. The townhouse not only offers stunning North facing views over the town, bay and mountains, but is also perfectly positioned for access to town and also the St. Blaize Trail which is a 10min walk to the famous Point area. The house offers accommodation for up to 6 guests over two stories with garaged parking.

The Main House
The house comprises 2 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom fitted with a toilet and shower. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 x 3/4 beds. Both bedrooms and open plan lounge/dining area open up onto a wraparound terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with indoor braai, a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. There is also a separate TV lounge with a Smart TV with Netflix.

The Casita
Charming character filled Studio with en-suite shower and toilet and kitchenette located just behind the Main House. Comfortably furnished with a private kitchenette with kettle, microwave, fridge and crockery. There is a lovely little “stoep” at the front of the Casita which opens up right onto the Plaasdam Swembad! There is a large garden to enjoy and it’s only a short walk to the main road in De Rust with all its lovely restaurants, coffee shops and quirky gift shops.

Cape St Blaize
The house offers spacious accommodation with an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. The lounge and dining room have large sliding doors opening up to a spacious stoep with built-in braai and magnificent views over the bay. The bedrooms are located on the first floor with the main bedroom and double bedroom opening out onto an enclosed stoep, perfect for the cooler evenings. The main bedroom is en-suite with shower and toilet. The main bathroom offers a shower and freestanding bath.

Dit was 'n voorreg en 'n groot bederf.
Die sorg, styl en flair waarmee die ou dame opgehelder is, spreek uit elke hoekie en draadjie. En Karin se trots en liefde het dit ONS HUIS gemaak. Die swembad en windpomp was ‘n heerlike lafenis, die koel huis was heerlik en ons kon om die huis stoepkuier met die wonderlikste uitsig op die berge. As bonus is die stil, netjiese omgewing waarin die huis gelee is. Baie dankie vir hierdie egte Karoo kuier. Dit was baie spesiaal.

Earlier this year my husband & I did a road trip from our home in KZN to the West Coast & back – we spent two nights at Rus in De Rust – it was fabulous!
